There is a so-called ‘Buddy Program’ where each newcomer gets paired with existing staff member from the moment of joining NHN to help new hires quickly adapt. We provide monthly training for new hires to help them plan their career vision and network.

We are operating a variety of programs to help new leaders improve their leadership capabilities, from onboarding programs for quick adaptation and networking that can contribute to strengthening the leadership.

Competency Training Program for Each Level
The competency training program is composed of a variety of programs that help work performance by learning the competencies and skill sets required for each level and position. It is largely composed of programs tailored for each level and for those promoted and is operated with the goal of not only improving competency and work skills, but also forming networking through various activities.

DEEP CAMPUS
DEEP CAMPUS is a learning platform for the growth of NHN members. It not only offers in-house training courses, but you can also check out 160 job training courses for all occupational needs, and you can directly open and participate in social learning where you can learn and grow with your colleagues.
Self-development
For employees who want to learn and grow more after work, we are currently operating a system that covers all expenses for seminars and training outside, as well as the cost accompanied with acquiring work-related qualifications.
Tech Course

Technical Course for Newcomers
NHN runs a 9-week base camp course for the new developers to help the newcomers to understand the company's development process, experience development culture and adapt well to work.
The tech course is considered to be a very useful course offering the trainees with a chance to grow exponentially in a short period of time by having to experience a whole cycle of a service from planning and design to development and QA process and improving it through refactoring step by step. -
Developer Growth Program
We conduct a technical training course to improve the competency of the tech teams and hold seminars with instructors from outside to share up-to-date trends in various fields. We also run a ‘Talk Day’ program for sharing application knowhow and troubleshooting in various tasks.

NHN FORWARD
Under the banner of 'Small Steps Big Difference', NHN has been holding an annual event since 2018 to share key technologies and experiences of each business division. It is designed to promote communication with external developers through technology.
Unlike other technology conferences aimed to promote the company's business and technological achievements, it focuses on sharing the know-how of solving problems that developers encounter in the field.
Team Building Workshop
We run the workshop for building team spirit both online and offline. It is held aiming at encouraging vibrant interaction and create synergy by inspecting current situation of the team in the prolonged remote working situation.
Work and Life
We truly value work and life balance. We aim to create an environment where employees can immerse themselves in their work during business hours and offer various welfare packages in our hope for our fellow members to focus on their personal life and family after work. We have rolled out meal voucher system for telecommuters in 2021 so that people can receive meals in a variety of work environments, went on to expand the benefits for long-term employment (veteran), support for congratulations and condolences and added new recreational facilities and health checkup hospitals. The loan interest support has been expanded to cover higher loans and newly set up a psychological counseling system for employees.
